Retired Air Force Officer,

F-15C & B-2 Stealth Bomber Pilot

Tim is a retired Air Force officer and former F-15C fighter pilot and B-2 stealth bomber pilot. From the tactical details of air-to-air dogfights to the strategic game of nuclear deterrence, his career impressed on him the value of knowledge and experience as well as the limitations of human judgement. He flew F-15Cs with the 390th Fighter Squadron in Idaho, then the B-2 at Whiteman AFB, Missouri, serving as an instructor and evaluator pilot and as Director of Inspections for the 509th Bomb Wing. He also served in Hawaii, the Pentagon, and overseas in Qatar. Tim and his wife Melissa settled near Mechanicsburg in 2022 to plant roots with their four children. He now flies the Boeing 737 for United Airlines.
