We have all been told many times that we should share the Gospel with our family, friends and neighbors. And we want to. But many of us have been given scripts that just make the conversation feel awkward. After a few attempts, we conclude that we're not good at this and lapse into a guilty silence. Or plow ahead and damage our relationships.

This is a different approach: flexible, authentic, relevant, and personal. Whether you are fearful or terrified by the prospect of talking to someone about the Gospel, excited by the opportunity, or somewhere in between, this workshop is for you. Whatever your level of experience, you’ll leave with practical tools, a new perspective, and more confidence to share the gospel effectively as together we step into participating in what God is doing.

There will be three sessions. Each session is offered twice. Come to whichever is most convenient that week.

Session 1: Fundamental Principles of Effective Evangelism
      - What is evangelism?
      - What is God's role?
      - What is our role?
      - What is the point? Why does God want us involved?
      - What is the problem? Why is this so hard?
      - What is the solution? We have critical, life-saving information. How do we get that through to people?
The payoff: Seeing that God has a plan to use you in the lives of people around you and not feeling stuck or guilty.

Dates and times (sessions are the same, attend one or the other)
   Option 1: Monday evening, 1/19/2026, 7:00 -9:00PM
   Option 2: Saturday morning, 1/24/2026, 9:00 -11:00AM

Session 2: Practical Principles of Effective Evangelism
      - What real needs has God built into everyone so that they'll have an opening for the Gospel?
      - How do we connect with that need?
      - What are good next steps with your kid or friend or other person who has rejected the gospel before?
      - How do we have time to be Ambassadors for God in the midst of everything else we are doing?
      - How do we make evangelism a lifestyle, not just an event?
The payoff: The joy of seeing God work through you in the lives of your family, friends and others.

Dates and times (sessions are the same, attend one or the other)
   Option 1: Monday evening, 1/26/2026, 7:00 -9:00PM
   Option 2: Saturday morning, 1/31/2026, 9:00 -11:00AM

Session 3: Advanced Principles of Evangelism: How to be Effective in Specific Situations
      - How to connect with Muslims, Atheists, Latter-day Saints, etc.
      - What is the difference between an intellectual atheist and a militant atheist?
      - How do you approach them differently?
      - How to connect with someone who doesn't believe in absolute truth or have a sense of guilt.
The payoff: Seeing that the fields are white for harvest and that you can have a productive conversation with anyone.
