Key Points:
- The Coach as a Vessel, not the Source
- Shifting from “solving” to “surrendering”
- The Holy Spirit as the true Guide in every coaching conversation

Powerful questioning is a cornerstone of effective coaching, enabling deeper self-discovery and facilitating meaningful progress.
One of the most fundamental techniques is the use of open-ended questions.
✅ These questions are designed to encourage exploration and invite the coachee to delve into their thoughts, feelings, and experiences
✅ Unlike closed-ended questions that elicit simple "yes" or "no" responses, open-ended questions prompt more expansive thinking and richer dialogue.
✅ They create space for the coachee to articulate their perspectives and gain valuable insights.
To effectively apply open-ended questions, begin with words like "How," "What," or "Tell me about…" These words naturally encourage the coachee to elaborate and provide detailed responses.
✅ For example, rather than ask "Did you enjoy the presentation?", try "What were your key takeaways?" or "How did it make you feel?"
✅ This shift in questioning prompts the coachee to reflect and share more insights.
✅ Open-ended questions help coaches enhance coachees' self-awareness and discovery of solutions.
