About the speaker......
Ty Krug is the General Manager of a box manufacturing facility in Dalton, Georgia, where he has led operations since 2017. A Chattanooga native, Ty graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Carolina with a double major in Marketing and Management and a minor in Advertising. He began his career with The Johnson Group before moving into sales with a sanitation chemical company serving major protein producers across the Southeast, including Tyson, Boar’s Head, and Perdue Farms. After gaining extensive field experience, he returned to Chattanooga to lead plant operations, eventually rising through the ranks before stepping into a Vice President of Operations role with Legacy Box.
Ty’s career reflects a consistent willingness to take risks, embrace new challenges, and lead in demanding environments—from overnight shifts in processing plants to executive leadership roles. His breadth of experience across sales, operations, and manufacturing has shaped a practical, results-driven approach to leadership and business.
Ty and his wife, Christine, recently celebrated their 15th anniversary and live in Ooltewah with their two children, Clara and Beau. He is also part of a weekly small group in Dalton, where he invests in relationships and personal growth alongside other men.
