About the Speaker

Aaron Batkay grew up in Saratoga County and began his faith journey in middle school through the ministry of Young Life. After a season of difficult trials, temptations, and health events, God reoriented Aaron's heart back toward Jesus and ministry to others. Aaron served as the Capital District Young Life Area Director for over seven years, reaching into the lives of disinterested and unchurched teenagers, while building Young Life teams around the Capital Region. He has also served as a Young Life developer in New Jersey, a business development manager for a faith-based tech start up, and now a licensed advisor for Steward Advisors Group and Simmons Capital Group. Aaron graduated from UAlbany (Psychology) and Fuller Theological Seminary (Masters in Ministry Leadership) and recently moved back to Saratoga County with his wife, Kelsie, and two children, Eleanore and Boden.
