About the Speaker
Justin Ford’s story of redemption is nothing short of miraculous. Once an honor-roll student and athlete, Justin’s life took a sharp turn—dropping out of high school, facing 13 arrests, serving time in four county jails, and battling drug and alcohol addiction in a desperate search to fill the void in his life. By the age of 19, Justin had accumulated eight misdemeanors, two DUIs, and even faced felony charges for selling drugs to an undercover officer. He hit rock bottom—literally drinking from a jailhouse toilet—before a near-fatal drunk-driving accident became his wake-up call and the catalyst for an incredible turnaround.
Today, Justin is living proof that redemption is real. He is a highly successful entrepreneur, top-producing Realtor, coach, author, speaker, podcast host, and philanthropist. He and his wife Joy (celebrating 20 years of marriage in 2025) lead The Justin Ford Real Estate Team based in Metro Detroit, consistently ranking in the top 1% of agents in Michigan. Together, they personally sell an average of 100 homes per year through their real estate business. In addition, they run a thriving real estate investment company where they buy, rehab, and flip multiple homes every year. Justin has been involved in over 1,000 real estate transactions and is a five-time ICON Agent with eXp Realty. He also leads an expansion team of nearly 200 agents nationwide.
With more than 20 years of experience in the industry, Justin has become one of the most respected voices in real estate. For over six years, he has coached and trained more than 1,000 real estate agents across the country, specializing in prospecting, lead generation, and mindset mastery. He is a featured speaker at national conferences, hosts trainings and intensives, and is known as one of the top prospecting coaches in the business.
Justin’s excellence has earned him multiple honors, including Wayne County’s 2025 Agent of the Year and being named a Top 40 Finalist for Real Producers Magazine’s National Top Agent of the Year Award. He has been featured on magazine covers, interviewed on numerous podcasts, and continues to inspire with his powerful message of perseverance, faith, and purpose.
Beyond real estate, Justin is deeply committed to making a difference in his community. He is the founder of The Promise Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to outreach, mentorship, and creating opportunities for youth and families in Detroit, and the co-founder of the Michigan Momentum Collaborative. His passion for Marketplace Ministry fuels his mission to equip other business leaders to see their work as a calling and a platform for impact.
Justin is also the author of Unleashed and creator of the Champions Challenge, a program that has taught thousands of students across Michigan about character, leadership, and success—earning him news coverage and recognition as a positive force for change.
When Justin isn’t coaching, selling homes, or speaking, he loves spending time with his family—his wife Joy, their four children (Angelina, Emilio, Tiara, and Judah), son-in-law Joel, and two grandchildren, Joel III and Aiya.
